London's Leading Coastal Powerboat Training Centre, Chas Newens Marine, have trained over 1,200 students in the past five years; that's an average of an amazing 80 Powerboat Level 2 courses per year!
Whether you are new to boating or an experienced mariner our team of friendly instructors will make you feel relaxed and at ease, all whilst learning everything you need to know to drive your own speedboat.
Our boat driving lessons are tailored directly to your needs. Are you going on holiday to Europe this year and want to hire a boat, or even take your own boat with you? Then don't forget you will need your international boat driving licence and for inland waterways (lakes, canals and some rivers) you will also need a European waterways endorsement.
All of our friendly instructors are qualified to the highest of standards, many of them exceeding the requirements laid down by the Royal Yachting Association.
Our instructors remain current and competent and have worked with many clients over the years
All of our practical and theory courses start at our offices in Putney, South West London.
Practical Aspects of the Powerboat Courses take place on the River Thames, through London, with the iconic Central London backdrop.
